ANONYMOUS, no it won’t. The Montevideo Convention has set in place four specific criteria for a country to be such. Sealand has met them all. That is why we are not really a micronation. Sealand is a legal country, even though it has only de facto recognition from other countries. Official recognition is not a requirement to become a country. The Montevideo Convention is.

SEAN BRIDGEMAN, at present citizenship applications/passports are not available, unless you are closely related to the Royal Family or do specific works for them. But you can become a noble. You can use your ID card wherever you go, like I do. That makes you legally a subject of the Principality.
