Celebrate Sealand's 57th Independence Day with Prince Michael's 70th Birthday Gold Coin Collection

In a momentous celebration of Sealand's 57th Independence Day, the Principality of Sealand is delighted to announce the launch of a limited edition gold-plated silver coin collection. This exclusive series honours the 70th birthday of Sovereign Prince Michael.

Limited Edition Craftsmanship

With only 271 coins left crafted to perfection, this collection features exquisite 24-carat gold plating and a newly designed effigy of Prince Michael. The finish or proof strike is achieved with multiple strikes at the point of minting, the final stage is the pure gold plating which is applied after careful inspection of each coin. Prince Michael's 70^th Birthday coin is the first time the Treasury have issued gold-plated commemorative coins. The individual numbering of each coin is applied by laser-etching onto the edge, which is a security feature on all of Sealand's commemorative coins.

Exclusive Access for E-Citizens and Applicants

E-Citizens and queue applicants are being rewarded for their loyalty with exclusive early access to this limited-edition collection. They will receive a 10% discount on their purchase. Starting from Friday, 13th of September at 5 PM UK (12 PM EST), E-Citizens and applicants will have a 48-hour priority window to acquire these coins before access is extended to other interested parties.

Verified E-Citizens will get instant notifications on their phones (and direct link to collection page available in their wallet pass). All other E-Citizens and those in the application queue are advised to closely monitor their inboxes for further details.

Opportunities for Supporters

Non E-Citizens supporters who have expressed interest in the collection will receive an email on Sunday, 15th at 5 PM UK (12 PM EST), offering direct access. Please note that the availability may be limited, and we encourage considering E-Citizenship for future exclusive collections.
