Some more territory and facilities need to be as added Perhaps registration of companies and ships too may be registered there. Banking perhaps, offshore.

One suggestion that could raise a lot of revenue would be for a small annual say £10 making the titles hereditary. This could over the lifetime of the original holder pay for the title many times over.

I’m not really keen on taxing aristocratic subjects. I think the email address should be made available again with an annual fee. Lease renewal of land property is already in place and should continue. I think forming an online community that is not bound to territoriality and with an efficient online shop is more reasonable as well as feasible. It allows us to use the Internet as a platform for virtual services, and why not making available virtual visitations as well at a nominal fee?
Baron George Day
I believe many of our suggestions have already been taken on board. Those among us who already have parallel communities of Sealanders will continue to serve the country, but this initiative to gather us online as a community is a very good start for positive progress. I believe this has been already suggested, but I will say that having an annual Conference, possibly in the summer, using Zoom, would help create a sense of national patriotism among Sealanders. I would add that referring to us as ‘supporters’ is very demeaning. I have addressed this before. We, who have bought land and have been granted noble status and national ID cards, are true non-citizen subjects, and as such we should be referred to. Sealand is our nation, we are insiders, not outsiders, even though we do not share sovereignty unless being granted a passport. Many among us do not claim that, as we understand the implications and need for prudence. But to continue to refer to aristocratic subjects as ‘supporters’ has the potential of alienating our efforts, as it makes us feel outsiders and unappreciated. The Principality claims to follow British Common Law, and therefore it should consistently refer to citizens and subjects, with the clear legal distinction in status, as is the case for British citizens and British subjects. People buy titles because they want to belong to, not just support, Sealand.

Sealand should make it clear that under the Montevideo Convention we are actually a microstate. More information on the website with legal documentation, as was the case with the old website, would help the idea of Sealand as a mocronation like many others. Sealand is something serious, with respect.
