E Mare Libertas - That's the motto of the Principality of Sealand. A declaration of independence from a fort in the North Sea that's been doing things differently since 1967.
The Sealand roller derby team took that motto, added wheels and an absolute refusal to get out of anyone's way — and became the Night E Mare Libertas.
This is their shirt. Dark, fierce and not remotely sorry about it.
